F-Secure Corporation and Pointsec Mobile Technologies have entered into a strategic partnership. According to the partnership, Pointsec will acquire the FileCrypto product range from F-Secure and Pointsec will offer F-Secure antivirus and content protection solutions to mobile end-users. The products transferred are F-Secure® FileCrypto™, F-Secure® FileCrypto™ for Nokia Communicator 9200, F-Secure® FileCrypto™ for Sony Ericsson P800 and F-Secure® FileCrypto™ for PocketPC.
Your licenses purchased from F-Secure are perpetual and they will be valid also in the future. Also the existing support and maintenance contracts will be honoured.
The product transfer has entered into a stage where F-Secure will no longer take orders for the FileCrypto products and their maintenance. When your support contract expires you may be contacted by your current partner, Pointsec, or Pointsec's partner. Alternatively you can contact Pointsec at sales@pointsec.com.
