Sometimes after an unclean shutdown, the Status Daemon may fail to start. The easiest solution is usually to restart the entire product:
(As root)
/etc/init.d/fsma restart
Alternatively, you may manually start the Status Deamon:
(As root)
/opt/f-secure/fsav/bin/fstatusd
