  • ftp://ftp.f-secure.com/support/hotfix/fsavcs/fsavwk617-02-signed.fsfix

Step 2. Import the Hotfixes to Policy Manager:

  • On the F-Secure Policy Manager Console, click ‘Tools’ and then ’Installation Packages...’. The Installation Packages dialog appears.

  • Click ‘Import’ for each Hotfix. The Hotfixes appear on the ‘Packages’ list.

  • Click ’Close’ to close the Installation Packages dialog.

Step 3. Install the Hotfix for workstations:

  • On ‘Policy Domains’ select the domain where the Hotfix will be installed.
  • On ‘Policy-based Installations’ select the Hotfix version to install from the drop-down menu.
  • Note! For workstations, no servers can belong to the domain to which you are distributing the Hotfix.

Step 4. Install the Hotfix for servers:

  • On ‘Policy Domains’ select the domain where the Hotfix will be installed.
  • On ‘Policy-based Installations’ select the Hotfix version to install form the drop-down menu.

Step 5. Distribute the policies:

  • On Policy Manger click ‘File’ and then ‘Distribute Policies’.
  • The Policy Distribution dialog informs you that the policies have been distributed successfully. Click ‘OK’ to close the dialog.

Step 6. (Optional) Verify that the computers have been upgraded successfully:

  • On Policy Manager click ‘View’ and then ‘Anti-Virus mode’. The view switches to ‘Anti-Virus mode’. You should see the distributed policies on the AV Hotfixes list.
  • Note! The time interval for successful installation reporting depends on your configurations. The default reporting interval is 10 minutes.
