Q 1. How do I purchase from F-Secure eStore?

Buying from eStore is easy. It involves selecting the product, paying and downloading it. Once your order is approved, you can purchase and download the product from the Internet immediately.

To purchase online:

Step 1: Select the product

1. On the F-Secure eStore web site (http://www.f-secure.com/estore) select the storefront to shop in the language or location that you prefer.


2. Select the product you want to buy and click Buy to transfer the product to your shopping cart.



At the shopping cart you can do the following:

Change the product quantity. Remove the product from the shopping cart. Order the product to be delivered also on CD. "CD on demand" option is recommended for customers using a modem to connect to the Internet. To see the changes in the shopping cart, click Recalculate. If you are interested in more than one product, click Continue Shopping and add the additional products to the cart in the same way.



3. Click Proceed to continue to the Address Info page.

You can follow your position in the purchase process from the top of the screen.

Step 2: Fill in the Customer Information form

Note: If you are an existing customer, you do not need to re-enter your information.

1. In the Address Info page, fill in all the required details. Make sure all information is correct, paying special attention to your e-mail address.


2. If the shipping address is not the billing address, untick the Ship to my billing address check box and click Continue. The Shipping Address info page is displayed.


3. Enter your shipping address details and click Continue. The Payment Options page is displayed.


4. Once you have checked that the shopping cart contains the products that you want to purchase, select the payment method you want to use.
   
   If you want the fastest service, select credit card as payment method. Most of the credit cards are validated automatically and your order will be processed and approved in minutes.
   
   If you select bank transfer as your payment method, the payment will be handled as soon as the money arrives to our account. Please allow from 2 days up to 2 weeks for delivery time.
   
   Once you have selected the payment method, click Pay now. The Place Order page is displayed.

Step 3: Supply credit card information and submit order

1. If you have selected to pay by credit card, enter your credit card details. Please fill in all the required details.
   
   Note: On this page, you can still modify your address information if necessary.


2. Once you have entered your credit card information, click Pay Now. The Receipt page is displayed.

Step 4: Confirmation of order

The Receipt page confirms your order. It contains all the details of your order and information about how the order appears on your credit card statement. You can print out the order receipt by clicking the Print version button at the bottom of the page.

Once your order is processed, our system will also automatically send you an e-mail with your purchase information containing the details of your order and instructions to download the product(s) purchased.

Step 5: Download and install the product

1. To download the product(s) purchased, do one of the following:
   
   • Click on the download URL(s) provided in the order confirmation e-mail.
   • On the Receipt page, click the Download button. The Download page is displayed.
     
     

     The download URL(s) provided in the e-mail will expire after some time. We advice you to create a back up CD so you can install the product again at any time.



2. Follow the instructions given on the Download page.


3. Once you have downloaded the product, double-click the download package, follow the installation wizard and enter your product license key when prompted. You can find the key both on the Download page and in your order confirmation e-mail.
