Product License Key

Q 7: My license key does not work. Why?

Are you using the correct license key?
The correct license key is in the following format: XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. Please try again.

Are you connected to the Internet?
During the installation, the Installation Wizard connects to the Internet to validate your license key from the F-Secure server. Please make sure that your computer is connected to the Internet and your connection is open, then try again.

Are you trying to reinstall the product?
If this is not the first time you are installing the product, please supply the license key during the installation, not in the trial window.

If the problem persists, please uninstall the software completely using Windows Control Panel and then install it again. By doing this the license key will be moved correctly to the new installation. For more information on how to uninstall the product, see the uninstallation instructions.
