Q17. I am trying to update F-Secure Internet Security on Windows 98 and the error message is “Network Incomplete”. What should I do?
On older Windows versions, the NETBEUI protocol is not fully integrated as a standalone protocol and Windows 98 needs this protocol for some TCP/IP services.
To solve the problem, install the "NETBEUI" protocol from the Windows 98 CD. Sometimes it is also necessary to reinstall TCP/IP, even if it is already installed.
Note! You will also need to install the NETBEUI protocol if you are using windows 98 in a Local Area Network (LAN) with 2000/XP computers and want to be able to share folders, drives and printers.
