Q 2. Does the PointSec for Symbian work with F-Secure Mobile Security?
We have tested the interoperability with PointSec version 2.1.7 build 217. Mobile Security and PointSec share a component FSPSSharedComponents, which appears in the application manager as a separate row and should not be removed.
PointSec is closed during the installation of Mobile Security. It must be opened manually to be able to access encrypted files.
Note: Files locked by PointSec will not appear on the list of “not scanned files”.
