How to Clean
a Compressed File
You cannot automatically disinfect a file that is inside an
archive file
with the current versions of F-Secure products. You have to manually
extract the archive, try to disinfect (or just delete) the infected
file, and then repack it again.
Please note that no malware is known to
infect straight from this kind of archive file. For such an infection to occur, the
executable file would need to be extracted to a temporary location first, in which case the F-Secure Anti-Virus detects it before it can be launched. |
